Thank you to everyone who submitted so many amazing entries This Detailed Life Edition 5! It was the hardest decision yet to pick just one front cover as we received so many amazing interpretations and different aspects of the Elements theme.
Pre-orders are NOW OPEN alongside general gallery submissions and article submissions. If you haven't already seen the latest news, we've changed things slightly this year and you need to pre-order your copy of the magazine BEFORE you submit your images, you then receive a link to upload UNLIMITED image submissions! (Article submissions are as before and you can submit your article pitches here until 14th February.)
Without further ado, here is our latest cover winner and an amazing shortlist, we're sure you'll agree! We had 28 finalists in our longlist this time around out of over 1000 entries!
(Please note that being shortlisted does not automatically mean your image will be published inside the magazine but we do urge you to submit them for the magazine.)

Again, we loved so many of the entries, we decided to share our shortlist too. Bex, (our Founding Editor) mocked up each one that made it to the final stages of selection and we've tagged the photographers so please do go and leave them some love over on Instagram...
We're as yet undecided on a back cover for this edition (seriously guys, it's been SO tough choosing, there are SUCH amazing entries for this theme)! So we're holding off for now and if you're shortlisted, we encourage you to submit your images for the magazine galleries or indeed with an article pitch if you have a whole project or story to share ;)
So what's next?
General submissions are open NOW! The deadline for general submissions is 28th February so you have 5 weeks to get your entries in! BUT we always recommend that you get organised asap! We do occasionally have some technical problems with our online form close to deadlines when it gets a lot of traffic!
